Self-finance the bullet train will run only in the public rail network Money
#Cosmoread: Among the criticisms of some opposition members of the bullet train project, Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu said Wednesday that the concept of the project was formulated during the previous government and the current government will not spend public money on support and funding from the Government of Japan is to pursue the initiative.
Replying to the discussion on the Railway Budget 2016-17 financial year, the Railway Minister said that the Government was foregoing the concept of the bullet train project. We pushed it, but public money should only be spent on the development of the railway network.

Lord said the government has urged the Government of Japan that such cooperation should not be limited to only this project, but Japan should cooperate in other rail projects.
