How healthy weight gain during pregnancy
#Cosmoread: Gaining weight during pregnancy is both natural and necessary. But a healthy amount of weight gained during pregnancy is limited to a whole other story, and certainly does not help the old adage “eating for two” is.
Women might think that “being pregnant gives them license to eat anything,” Katherine Tallmadge, a registered dietitian and an op-Ed contributor to the science. But gaining too much weight during pregnancy, mothers can have long-term health consequences, she said.
